In the end, Georgia Tech won total team points, 42 to 21. Georgia's team coach stated that he "..saw a lot of good close racing and all the novi seemed to learn a lot about backing into a stake boat. Many a time I saw UGA Crew running over people in the 2nd half of the race. This is exactly where we want to be in our training at this point in the season. Now we will begin our push to develop some get-up-and-go front half speed. Great job everyone!"

The team is now preparing for SERCS in Aiken, SC this Saturday. This regatta will kick of the team's spring break training trip on which the team will train twice a day together in Winterpark, Fl for the duration of spring break, ending in another regatta in Florida before the team heads back to Athens.
